LET’S GO FISHING

Tailwater Trout Floats

Tennessee’s South Holston and Watauga tailwaters are unquestionably ranked among the finest fisheries in the States. Fed by daily generations from cold clear mountain lakes, these rivers can be fished any month of the year. Home to many aquatic insects including the infamous “Sulphur” and “Mother’s Day Caddis” hatches, there is nothing to prevent these trout from growing to trophy-size.

Backcountry Creek Wade Trips

Prefer the smaller creeks? Letting the water run through your legs while creeping up on your next catch? Throwing dry flies into a plunge pool or underneath an overhanging mountain laurel? Chasing the Southeast one and only native Appalachian Brook Trout? We have multiple small river & creek options to choose from the Great Smoky Mountains to Southwest Virginia’s George Washington & Jefferson National Forest. We are proud to be one of the very few services that are licensed and permitted to guide in these regions.
